Comparing to Direct Competitors
As we all know NADA, KBB, Blackbook and other sources of vehicle pricing are based on comparisons of what the vehicle sells for at the auctions. By comparing they are able to come up with an educated guess of what the vehicle is worth wholesale and retail. The pricing estimates they provide though are only guides – individual areas have different levels of demand for different models, and therefore different pricing is necessary.
This is why we research how our clients’ prices compare to their direct competitors. By doing this, we give our clients an edge on their competition and allow them to stay one step ahead.
